Stadsterras

The city of Mortsel is known to many a crossroad. This creates a linear reading of the urban space, encapsulated by commercial walls. Behind the closed walls of the center, you can find the large, green and pleasant neighborhoods which are unknown for many people.

For this reason we resolutely chose to use the Stadsterras as an opportunity to broaden the city of Mortsel. We let the neighborhood park grow into a real city park in combination with housing and secondary functions. The city terrace forms the link between the center of the city of Mortsel and the neighborhood park.
